Lynne Baum M.A., CCC-A

Lynne Baum is a licensed Clinical Audiologist and the owner/founder of Advanced Hearing Care. Originally from Pennsylvania, Lynne has over 15 years of experience helping people of all ages to overcome communication challenges and improve their hearing. She earned her Master's degree in Audiology from Temple University after earning a Bachelors of Science in Communication Disorders from Penn State University. She was a faculty member at Temple University's Graduate School of Speech and Hearing and has supervised numerous Audiology students during their clinical fellowships. Her experience at an Otolaryngology (ENT) medical group in Philadelphia exposed her to the medical aspect of hearing loss. That knowledge laid the foundation for her career in hearing healthcare and she went on to build a thriving Audiology practice. Her expertise with difficult to fit hearing losses is well known in the field. Many of her patients have been referred by local physicians or previous patients. Additionally, employees of leading hearing aid manufacturers frequently refer their own friends and family members to Advanced Hearing Care. Lynne has resided in North County with her husband and children since 1997.

Taryn Reynolds, our office manager at Advanced Hearing Care, will greet you with respect and kindness. With a great attention to detail and a compassion for helping, Taryn will ensure that your needs are met during your visit – not to mention that she brews the best coffee in town. Managing tasks such as scheduling appointments, handling insurance billing, and working as a liaison with your primary care physician, she’s here to assist you. Taryn is also an Encinitas native and resident her entire life – so she is an invaluable resource about everything and anything in North County

David Baum MBA, MS

David Baum is available for patients to contact regarding any financial questions. Originally from New Jersey, David has over 20 years experience building and operating successful health care organizations. David earned a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Rutgers University. After a successful career in the Health Care industry he returned to earn and a dual Masters Degree in Health Care Admistration and Health Care Financial Management from Temple University graduating with highest honors.
